Ericsson Smart Factory Inc. seeks a HW Make Support (SMA Process Engineer) in Lewisville, TX; Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance, who will serve tooversee the operation, maintenance, programming, and optimization of advanced Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment.
What you will do:
Optimize current SMT processes to improve efficiency, yield and quality. Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve SMT process related issues. Work together with IT department to develop data analytic tools to monitor SMT process. Monitor and analyze SMT process data to identify trends in the process. Evaluate and select appropriate tools and equipment to SMT process to secure Ericsson's technology leadership in SMT production technology. Provide technical support and training to production operators. Write and maintain process documentation. Ensure that Ericsson SMT production is compliant with industry and Ericsson internal standards. Cooperate with other SMT engineers from other Ericsson factories to implement global SMT solutions. Train and mentor new freshly joined engineering team members. Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance.
You will bring:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering Physics, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Process Engineering, SMT Equipment Engineering, or Electronics Manufacturing Engineering.

The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.

We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions of 4%. - Machine programming including Solder Paste Printers, Pick and Place Equipment, Reflow Soldering Systems, Solder Paste Inspection Equipment and Automatic Optical Inspection Machines.
- Preventive and predictive maintenance, defect analysis, and mass production optimization
- Electronics Manufacturing in SMT Equipment.
- Real-time equipment monitoring, statistical process control (SPC), and advanced KPI tracking using Python, SQL, and data science tools.
