Who We Are

At Trility Consulting®, we’ve built a strong, remote-work culture where people thrive, grow, and support each other – earning us Great Place to Work® Certification. Headquartered in Central Iowa, we embrace flexible schedules and collaboration across geographically distributed teams serving clients from all corners of the United States and globally.

We seek team members with the grit necessary to forge paths where none previously existed, to get back up when circumstances knock them down, to adapt to the changing needs of the client even when it is uncomfortable, and to deliver on our commitments. Candidates must respect and value people, recognize that over-communication is barely good enough, thrive on solving complex problems, have a passion for building teams, and know that delivering what a client actually values is more important than their own predispositions. They understand value proposition, love delivering value, and take pride in learning the expansive and ever-changing business of clients. Candidates are self-motivated and relentlessly working to become more today than they were yesterday.

What You Will Do

Trility Consulting is seeking a Mid-Level Identity & Systems Administrator Consultant who thrives in hands-on configuration, implementation, and identity support. In this role, you will serve as the primary implementer of new access controls as the organization transitions away from its parent company and establishes a secure, standalone environment.

You will partner closely with the Senior Identity & Security Engineer to support the Okta-to-Entra ID migration while owning the day-to-day administration of BeyondTrust and Active Directory environments. Your mission is simple but critical: ensure employees have the right access, at the right time, with the right level of security.

This is a remote 1099 position.

Your Responsibilities

  • Configure and test SSO integrations and application assignments within Microsoft Entra ID as applications transition from Okta
  • Support the migration of authentication policies and identity configurations under the guidance of the Senior Engineer
  • Onboard administrative and privileged accounts into BeyondTrust and manage request/approval workflows for infrastructure access
  • Perform Active Directory health checks, object clean-up, and organizational unit restructuring within divested AD forests
  • Troubleshoot identity and synchronization issues, including hybrid vs. cloud-only account conflicts and Entra Connect challenges
  • Provide coexistence support during the interim state where users operate across legacy parent systems and the new standalone environment
  • Collaborate with the MSP by providing required data, access, and technical coordination to support M365 migration efforts
  • Maintain accurate documentation of identity configurations, access models, and support procedures

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in Systems Administration with a focus on Active Directory and Identity management
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, BeyondTrust, and Active Directory Users & Computers (ADUC)
  • Familiarity with SSO configuration, conditional access policies, and hybrid identity environments
  • Experience troubleshooting identity synchronization issues, including Entra Connect and hybrid object management
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a systems-thinking approach to diagnosing authentication and access issues
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating closely with senior engineering and MSP teams
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

How We Put You First

Trility’s culture is built upon the journey, character, and work ethic of our team members. We are a team of honorable and professional lifelong learners who work together to solve problems proactively.

• Work remotely anywhere in the United States with flexible work hours
• Sponsored and supported learning opportunities

Job Requirements

• Must reside within the United States
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be able to pass a background check
