Key Responsibilities

  • Follow established radiation safety standards, MRI safety guidelines, and infection control policies
  • Accurately document patient information, exam details, and procedural data in the PACS and RIS systems
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, referring physicians, and clinical staff to support optimal diagnostic outcomes and patient care
  • Maintain current knowledge of modality-specific advancements, best practices, and emerging imaging technologies
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives, continuing education, and cross-training opportunities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required in the applicable modality (e.g., Radiography [R], CT [CT], MRI [MR], Mammography [M], Nuclear Medicine [N], or DEXA). For Ultrasound: ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification required.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure and/or certification as required by law
  • Education: Associate’s degree or completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or related imaging discipline
  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in the respective imaging modality, preferably in an outpatient or ambulatory setting

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging principles, and patient positioning across multiple modalities
  • Proficiency in modality-specific imaging systems, PACS/RIS software, and related technology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional integrity at all times

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an outpatient or ambulatory imaging environment
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Multi-modality certification or willingness to cross-train (e.g., X-ray + CT, MRI + DEXA, etc.)

Benefits

  • Medical, vision, and dental insurance
  • 401(k) eligibility
  • Paid holidays, PTO, and sick time
  • Opportunities for professional growth and cross-modality advancement

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
