The Role

As an Immigration Attorney at Lawhive, you will manage a high-volume portfolio of immigration matters focused on the Immigration needs of families and small businesses, such as Family Petitions, Adjustments to Status, Naturalization, Fiancé Visas, TN and E2 Visas as well as general advisory work. In addition to core immigration work, you will partner closely with our Product and Engineering teams, acting as a subject matter expert to help shape our AI-powered legal platform. Acting as a key part of the feedback loop between our users and tech teams, you will advise on key product features and workflows to help ensure our tools reflect real-world immigration practice. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on immigration work and is excited about the impact of AI on the legal system.

  • Manage a portfolio of immigration matters from start to finish

  • Advise clients on legal merits, potential outcomes, and next steps.

  • Prepare & file a wide range of different US visa applications

  • Define limited scope product offerings for small business and family Immigration needs.

  • Assist in collaborating with co-counsel on matters that require local or in-person representation as needed.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert, partnering with our Product and Engineering teams to review and provide feedback on product features for Lawhive’s AI platform, affecting immigration matters

  • Advise on edge cases, risk scenarios, and regulatory considerations

  • Participate in user testing, feature scoping, and documentation reviews
