WHY WE’RE LOOKING: 

We are growing and looking for an Implementation Specialist to support the successful onboarding, configuration, and training of DealerBuilt solutions for our customers. This role plays a critical part in delivering a seamless implementation experience by guiding clients through the process, ensuring adoption, and helping them achieve their desired business outcomes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Execute software implementation projects in alignment with established project plans, timelines, and quality standards  

  • Support implementation activities including system configuration, data validation, and solution setup  

  • Participate in client kickoff, status, and closeout meetings  

  • Maintain and manage project tasks, follow-ups, and action items for both internal teams and customers 

  • Communicate effectively with customers, sales, and cross-functional teams throughout the implementation lifecycle (pre-onsite, onsite, and post-onsite)  

  • Gather and document customer requirements to tailor solutions to their business needs  

  • Train customers on DealerBuilt solutions to ensure adoption and long-term success  

  • Assist in developing and maintaining implementation and training documentation, tools, and resources  

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and share feedback to enhance implementation efficiency and quality  

  • Support post-implementation activities to ensure customer satisfaction and successful transition 


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: 

  • 2+ years of automotive software or dealership experience preferred  

  • Experience supporting software implementations, onboarding, or training initiatives  

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously  

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders  

  • Ability to understand customer business needs and translate them into system configurations  

  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills  

  • Comfortable leading or supporting client-facing meetings and training sessions  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)  

  • Familiarity with project management tools is a plus  

  • Experience working in a remote or geographically dispersed team environment  

  • Willingness to travel (up to 50–60%) for onsite customer implementations  

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
