Project Overview At CouponFollow, our mission is to make saving money simple and trustworthy. We are seeking a highly specialized Independent Contractor to lead the strategic evolution of our offer intelligence platform. This engagement focuses on leveraging data foundations to drive business goals across B2C and B2B surfaces.

Engagement This is a high-impact, hands-on consultancy role. The Contractor will be responsible for translating complex business needs into technical requirements and driving cross-functional execution. We expect a pragmatic, AI-augmented approach to discovery and development, paired with rigorous measurement discipline.

Engagement Details

    • Compensation: [Daily/Monthly Professional Fee]  

    • Agreement Type: Independent Contractor (T4A or B2B)

    • Term: [9 -month initial term with potential for extension]

    • Location: Remote Ontario, Canada (Requires meaningful working-hour overlap with our Poland-based team; Europe or U.S. East Coast time zones preferred)

Project Deliverables & Services

    The Contractor will provide the following professional services:

    1. Strategic Briefs & Opportunity Identification

    • Analyze offer and merchant data to identify high-leverage growth and revenue opportunities.

    • Produce crisp, data-backed product briefs and prototypes for new B2C/B2B surfaces.

    • Validate assumptions and define "success metrics" in partnership with internal stakeholders.

    • 2. Offer Intelligence Roadmap Management

      • Define the roadmap for core platform capabilities (ingestion, interpretation, ranking, and validation).

      • Identify and implement improvements for data normalization, classification, and freshness.

      • Balance technical debt with high-velocity platform investments to ensure reliability.

      • 3. End-to-End Initiative Execution

        • Manage the lifecycle of specific initiatives from discovery through requirements and delivery.

        • Provide clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

        • Facilitate planning and alignment sessions to remove ambiguity and unblock execution.

        • 4. Quality Assurance & Reporting

          • Define the quality bar for offer intelligence and evaluate launches against pre-defined KPIs.

          • Provide lightweight but comprehensive documentation for expected behavior and edge cases.

Required Professional Expertise

  • Experience: 5+ years in Product Management within technical domains (APIs, data products, or infrastructure). Familiarity with affiliate, coupon or marketplace data ecosystems is a strong plus.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with data ingestion or crawling pipelines (or willingness to get close to the engineers on these), and experience owning quality and reliability metrics (e.g. data freshness, coverage and accuracy).

  • Analytical mindset: Advanced analytical skills (SQL) and a proven track record of shipping complex, cross-functional data products.

  • AI Integration: Demonstrated experience using AI tools for discovery, prototyping, and analysis with a strong validation discipline.

  • Execution: Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable improvements within a defined engagement scope.
