In this role, you will support and lead indirect procurement initiatives across multiple categories, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to drive value, efficiency, and cost savings. You will report to the Head of Procurement and act as a trusted advisor across the organization.

Compensation: Based on qualifications we anticipate the hiring range will be $90,000-$125,000.

Hybrid Work:  We offer a flexible hybrid work structure. Candidates located more than 50 miles from our Waco, TX office may be eligible for either a relocation bonus or flexible work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Cost Management

  • Support end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier selection, sourcing events, negotiations, and contract execution across indirect spend categories
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify, negotiate, and execute cost-saving and value-driving initiatives

 

Stakeholder & Supplier Partnership

  • Act as a trusted procurement advisor leading projects across multiple functions and, at times, geographies
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to maximize partnership value and performance

 

Procurement Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage purchase order activities, supplier master data, and procure-to-pay processes while resolving system or process issues
  • Track and analyze procurement KPIs to recommend and implement process improvements that increase efficiency

 

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of procurement experience or 2+ years consulting experience, preferably supporting indirect categories (e.g., Marketing, IT, HR, Facilities)
  • Working knowledge of procure-to-pay processes, sourcing methodology, and contract fundamentals
  • Experience using a source-to-pay system such as Oracle, SAP, or Coupa
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a preference for candidates who have demonstrated success in capturing year-over-year cost savings.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience partnering with Legal to review and redline commercial contract terms
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to work across functions
  • Continuous improvement mindset and comfort operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
