Boeing Global Services currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level Industrial Engineers to become part of the San Antonio Manufacturing Center in San Antonio, TX.
The successful candidate will be able to team with others from a diverse set of backgrounds and interests and will be able to collaborate with persons from a wide variety of skill sets and experiences. Your individual contribution and team leadership is essential to meet site KPI goals and drive efficiency improvement of manufacturing and business processes. Focus areas include quality, cost, delivery, and safety throughout the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Daily Status Tracking: The Industrial Engineer is responsible for monitoring daily progress and ensuring alignment with project goals. We risk losing visibility into project status.
  • NCR Status Management: This role manages NCRs, facilitating root cause analysis and corrective actions. The absence of this position will hinder our ability to address quality issues promptly. As noted, the program has had multiple issues in tracking and daily status report out of existing NCRs. Additionally, multiple processes have yet to be developed, tracked, and reviewed for overall success.
  • Daily Task Accomplishments: The Industrial Engineer defines and prioritizes daily tasks, ensuring team focus on high-impact activities. Without this role, coordination and accountability will suffer. Current state has led to just tracking what NCRs are signed off, but no impact to overall end of sight product delivery.
  • Schedule Development: The Industrial Engineer develops and maintains the project schedule, identifying critical path activities and resource allocation. The lack of this position will create challenges in maintaining an accurate schedule.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by manager or site/shift lead
  • Some travel may be required
  • May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 2+ years of experience with Industrial Engineering or a similar role (i.e. Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, in an assembly or fabrication Environment)
  • Experience working in a team environment and communicating clearly with both internal and external customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis tools/software (i.e. Minitab, etc.)
  • Proficient with ERP/MRP systems

Summary pay range Associate: $83,300 - $112,700
Summary pay range Mid-Level: $100,300 - $135,700
