The Inside Laboratory Sales Specialist will be primarily focused on generating demand and sales qualified leads for new reference lab business.  This professional will partner with other field sales professionals, helping to grow reference lab revenues via new business acquisition and same store sales leveraging the highly differentiated IDEXX Reference Laboratory Test Menu and Service offering.  He/She will utilize a customer centric pricing strategy and targeted sales approach to achieve quarterly objectives.

In the role of Inside Laboratory Sales Specialist:

  • You will leverage IDEXX offering to win new reference lab business and/or generate sales qualified leads(SQLs) for local sales professionals

  • You will maintain customer contact database(salesforce.com) with accurate profiles, notes, opportunity and competitive information

  • You will establish credibility among customers through demonstration of product knowledge and a consultative sales approach

  • You will develop strong working relationships with existing IDEXX ecosystem

  • You will work effectively with leadership & cross-functional teams to ensure success & an optimal customer experience

What you need to succeed?

  • 2-4 years in an Inside Sales Role and/or applicable business experience in an outbound/customer facing role

  • Understanding of the veterinary diagnostic market and roles within a veterinary practice is preferred

  • Strong communications skills including writing, listening and questioning; strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly

  • Capability to absorb and articulate technical information; proficient in carrying in-depth, clinically relevant conversations

  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Ability to adapt quickly amidst shifting priorities and work effectively with a reasonable amount of ambiguity

  • Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment.

What you can expect from us:

  • Base hourly rate of $28.00/hr + based experience & ability to earn quarterly commission.

Location: This role is a virtual opportunity or could be a hybrid role with the opportunity to come into office.
