We are seeking a driven and self-motivated Inside Sales Representative-Marketplace to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new customer relationships, managing your sales pipeline, and driving revenue by connecting heavy equipment buyers with the right machines. You’ll operate autonomously within our standard business hours while owning your schedule and sales strategy within our given playbook. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Proactively prospect and develop new business opportunities through outbound phone calls, email outreach, and CRM tools.
  • Qualify inbound leads and convert them into active buyers.
  • Maintain a full sales pipeline, leveraging company-provided tools and processes to manage communication and follow-ups.
  • Provide consultative guidance to buyers, helping them understand their equipment options and purchase decisions.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in identifying buyer needs, negotiating deals, and recommending equipment solutions.
  • Collaborate with other teams including operations, logistics, and seller-side teams to ensure customer success.
  • Manage your daily workflow, prioritizing tasks and prospects based on urgency and deal value.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or account management
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a sales pipeline and hit quota-based targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative sales style
  • Tech-savvy and experienced using CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • High level of self-direction and time management
  • Comfortable working within a defined workday (9am–5pm CST), while managing priorities and outcomes independently

Work Environment and Autonomy:

  • This role operates under minimal supervision and relies on the employee’s judgment to prioritize outreach, qualify leads, and tailor sales strategies to unique customer needs.
  • The Inside Sales Representative is expected to exercise discretion in planning their outreach approach, closing tactics, and account strategy—critical components for the role’s success.
