Point C is a National third-party administrator (TPA) with local market presence that delivers customized self-funded benefit programs. Our commitment and partnership means thinking beyond the typical solutions in the market – to do more for clients – and take them beyond the standard “Point A to Point B.” We have researched the most effective cost containment strategies and are driving down the cost of plans with innovative solutions such as, network and payment integrity, pharmacy benefits and care management. There are many companies with a mission. We are a mission with a company.

Point C is seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to support the growth of our self-funded health plan administration services. In this role, you will engage employers, brokers, and consultants through phone, email, and virtual meetings to generate and close new business. Working closely with outside sales representatives and reporting to the Vice President of Sales Operations, you will be an integral part of our national sales team — serving as the first point of contact for prospects and driving pipeline momentum from initial outreach through a seamless handoff to field sales.

This is a high-impact role for someone eager to build a consultative sales career in the healthcare and TPA space, with direct exposure to a seasoned sales organization and a clear path for growth.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and CRM outreach to employer groups and benefits brokers
  • Present Point C TPA services, programs, and value proposition to prospective clients in a clear and consultative manner
  • Collaborate directly with outside sales representatives to ensure a smooth transition of qualified opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with brokers and consultants
  • Manage the initial sales cycle from first contact through handoff to the outside sales representative
  • Meet or exceed monthly activity and pipeline goals
  • Accurately track all activity, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Partner with marketing and sales operations on campaigns, outreach strategies, and lead management
  • Stay current on self-funded health plan trends, compliance requirements (ERISA, ACA), and competitor offerings
  • Eligible for incentive compensation tied to individual monthly and annual sales performance
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of inside sales experience, preferably in health insurance, employee benefits, or TPA services
  • Familiarity with self-funded plan concepts (stop-loss, ASO, reference-based pricing) is a strong plus
  • Strong communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a high-volume pipeline in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Self-starter with high integrity, strong work ethic, and motivation to grow within a sales career path
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.

$55,000$75,000 USD
Benefits:
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
