The world is wired and tired. It's plagued by screens, notifications, and the sense that you should always be doing ... something. But hey, you're reading this job application right now, so you probably know exactly what we're talking about.

So here's a bit of good news amidst all the noise: Hatch is a sleep wellness company that's betting on rest in a culture obsessed with optimization. While most technology is designed to keep you engaged, our devices use the science of habit formation to help people unplug, unwind, and recharge. Through genuinely enjoyable routines, habit building, and gentle guidance (no sleep scores or wearables here), we help people build healthier sleep habits and feel the difference in everyday life.

Ten years ago, we started with a mission to help parents navigate the complexities of newborn sleep. Today, we're helping more than 5 million people (and counting) take care of themselves and the people they love through the power of rest.

We’re open to candidates across the U.S. and Canada. However, please note that Hatch is based in California, so we just ask that you're available during PST/PDT hours.

Our Marketing team is looking for an Integrated Marketing Contractor to lead creative and campaign strategy across paid and organic channels. The contractor will work a minimum 30 hours per week. This is an initial six-month contract engagement, with the option to extend based on business needs.

We need an experienced integrated marketer who can connect brand storytelling with performance marketing. You’ll translate business priorities, customer insights, and cultural trends into compelling campaign strategies that work across the customer journey. You’ll bring a strong point of view, create clarity across teams, and ensure our paid and organic efforts come together as one cohesive brand experience.

You’ll operate as a strategic owner—developing campaign narratives, shaping creative direction, leading cross-functional planning, and leveraging performance insights into stronger creative work. You should be equally comfortable building a high-level campaign strategy, writing a clear creative brief, reviewing work, and digging into results to identify what we should do next.

You’ll report to VP Acquisition Marketing and work closely with Brand, Creative, Media, Lifecycle, Social, Product Marketing, E-commerce, and external agency partners.

This role is remote-friendly but must be based in the U.S. or Canada. Hatch is based in California, so we ask that you’re available during PST/PDT hours.

  • Independent leader: You take ownership, create structure, and manage competing priorities without requiring daily direction. You build trust across functions, communicate proactively, and simplify complex strategies to align stakeholders and move teams from discussion to decision.
What You’ll Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in integrated marketing, growth marketing, campaign strategy, brand strategy, creative strategy, or a related marketing discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience leading integrated campaigns across both paid and organic channels, ideally for a consumer, lifestyle, wellness, technology, or direct-to-consumer brand.
  • A strong portfolio of campaigns that shows how you have translated customer insights and business objectives into creative strategies and measurable results.

  • Experience partnering with internal creative teams, media teams, channel owners, and external agencies to deliver integrated work.
  • Ability to interpret paid and organic performance data and turn results into actionable creative and campaign recommendations.
  • Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, stakeholders, and dependencies.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with an ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders at different levels.
