The Interactive Designer plays a key role in shaping digital experiences across multiple Callaway Golf brands. This role focuses on UI and UX design, combining strong visual execution with experience-driven thinking. The designer will create, improve, and scale digital experiences across e-commerce, including landing pages, product pages, and key user flows.
In addition to experience design, this role is responsible for creating and managing digital assets that support web, email, and paid media, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints for Callaway Golf Pre-Owned.
This role requires a designer who is comfortable working from concept to execution, using AI tools for rapid ideation and prototyping, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to improve user experience and business performance.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead experience design across brands: Drive UI and UX improvements across Callaway Golf brands, including product pages, landing pages, and key user flows. 
  • Digital asset execution (CGPO focus): Create and manage digital assets across web, email, and paid media for Callaway Golf Pre-Owned, while supporting other brands and ensuring consistency and high-quality execution. 
  • Support optimization and testing efforts: Contribute to design updates, A/B testing, and iterative improvements to enhance usability, clarity, and conversion. 
  • AI-driven ideation and prototyping: Use AI tools to generate wireframes, explore concepts, and create variations for testing and iteration. 
  • Design system contribution: Help maintain and evolve the design system to ensure consistency and scalability across brands. 
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Merchandising, Paid Media, Email, Analytics, and Development teams to align on priorities and deliver solutions. 
  • Participate in planning: Contribute to planning conversations, bringing a design perspective into roadmap discussions. 
  • QA and polish: Ensure designs are accurate, responsive, and optimized for mobile-first experiences. 

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong UI and UX design fundamentals with a focus on e-commerce experiences. 
  • Ability to translate business goals into clear, user-friendly design solutions. 
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar tools for design and prototyping. 
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator. 
  • Experience designing responsive, mobile-first experiences. 
  • Comfort using AI tools for rapid wireframing, prototyping, and ideation. 
  • Strong attention to detail and QA mindset. 
  • Clear communication skills and ability to explain design decisions. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities. 
  • Ability to use performance metrics to inform design decisions. 
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for collaboration and support (not a developer role).
  •  Familiarity with A/B testing tools and experimentation frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience in e-commerce or retail environments is a plus.
  • Golf knowledge is a plus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of interactive design and development

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Work is performed in a designated professional office workstation and environment.
  • Extensive use of office equipment to include computer, calculator, copier, fax, and other business-related machines and software.
  • Regularly required to work at computer 3+ hours per day.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, and use hands to perform typing and grasping.
  • Frequently required to bend at neck.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or carry up to twenty-five pounds, regularly lift and/or carry up 50 pounds.
  • Specific abilities required by this job are ability to distinguish colors, close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
