Intern | HR Benefits

The role of an HR Benefits Intern is for someone passionate about bringing the Epicor experience to life for employees across the globe. As an intern, you will gain the opportunity to cross-collaborate with partners within Epicor, grow your business acumen, and feel empowered to put your expertise to the test. We’re looking for an intern who is willing to jump in and bring fresh ideas to the table.

What you will be doing:

  • Learn the basics of employee benefits administration and how to communicate those benefits to employees by prioritize inquiries to our Global Benefits mailbox.

  • Research and prepare content for our internal communications wellness channels utilizing Viva Engage.

  • Support annual compliance requirements by compiling employee data, enrollment data, and eligibility data for 401(k) auditing, non-discrimination testing, and Form 5500 submissions.

  • Draft benefit materials for recruiting and ongoing benefit support for Americas employee base, including strategic communications plans for centers of excellence within HR to exceed their identified goals and objectives.

What you will likely bring:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with others.

  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills and should be digitally savvy.

  • Must demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and harness industry-relevant technologies.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, specifically Outlook; Excel, SharePoint, Adobe, and Canva or other design software.

  • Passion to learn about corporate employee benefits and promote new programs aimed at health and wellness.
