About the Team & Business Line:

As a core member of our Data Transformation team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
ResponsibilitiesYour Role:
As an Intern of Data Transformation, you will sit at the intersection of data, product delivery, and client engagement. Working closely with Data Transformation leadership and Business Development teams, you will help shape and communicate our data capabilities — both internally across departments and externally with clients. From translating complex data concepts into compelling narratives to contributing to the development and delivery of data products, you will play a meaningful role in how we build, sell, and explain our data offering.
- Support Data Transformation leadership and Business Development teams in preparing materials showcasing data capabilities and presentations for client pitches
- Translate complex data concepts into clear, compelling narratives tailored to client audiences
- Assist in managing client communications, setting expectations, and ensuring timely follow-up
- Analyze and extract trends and insights from large datasets to support client narratives and internal decision-making
- Develop peripheral automation for our processes (e.g. VBA macros, SQL scripts, etc.)
- Ensure sufficient documentation for processes & tools
- Assist with various projects as assigned
- Contribute to product vision and align roadmap to strategic goals
Product development
- Through partnership with the business, define, sponsor and steer development initiatives
- Influence and guide technology, project management and operations team in solution delivery
- Maintain and develop expertise and keep abreast of market trends/direction and competitors
- Collaborate with the other product teams on prioritization and reuse of functionality
Technology
- Horizon scanning for disruptive technology
- Leverage core Citco expertise to deliver consistency for clients across PE, RE and Hedge
Services
- Create and maintain standard product offerings
- Define and guide strategic changes to reporting and data management
About You:
- Working towards a bachelor's or master’s degree in a quantitative or business discipline, such as computer science, finance, economics, data science, or business administration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong visual communication and storytelling skills (PowerPoint, Visio, or equivalent)
- Ability to manage client-facing communications professionally and with attention to detail
- Project management skills with proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik
- Experience with VBA or other automation scripting
- Knowledge of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with AWS or cloud platforms
