The intern will conduct time studies, develop standard work for manufacturing centers, assist with facility layout, and work on process improvement projects.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Conduct Time Studies at critical work centers
- Develop standard work associated with assigned work centers
- Assist with layout of manufacturing facility
- Process improvement projects
Learning Objectives
- Use of the Solidworks and AutoCAD system.
- Understanding of CNC and Manual Machine Shop manufacturing process
- Continuous Improvement mindset for workflow
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a BS with a major in Mechanical Engineering and less than 2 years to graduation
- Experience with Solidworks and AutoCad
- Capable of utilizing MS Word, Excel including macros
