Labcorp is seeking a Remote based PMO Strategy & Transformation Intern to join our Program Management Office (PMO) team!

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday/ 40 hours per week

Job Responsibilities

  • Support strategic initiatives focused on enhancing the effectiveness, maturity, and innovation of the Program Management Office.

  • Research and develop practical AI use cases to improve project delivery, reporting, meeting management, and PM productivity.

  • Analyze PMO processes and recommend improvements to governance, portfolio reporting, project execution standards, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Assist in developing a structured framework for evaluating external vendor, partnership, acquisition, and innovation opportunities.

  • Conduct interviews, surveys, and data analysis as part of a PMO health assessment and organizational improvement initiative.

  • Support the design and organization of PMO knowledge management resources, including project templates, SOPs, best practices, training content, and collaboration spaces within Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.

  • Create executive-ready presentations, dashboards, process maps, scorecards, and recommendations for senior leadership.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Labcorp to gather requirements, assess opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in:

    • Project Management

    • Information Systems / Computer Science

    • Data Analytics

    • Healthcare Administration

    • Life Sciences

    • Operations Management

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ months of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.

  • 3+ months of experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Power BI, Power Platform, or Microsoft Copilot.

  • 3+ months Coursework, academic projects, or experience related to project management, business transformation, strategy, operations, technology, or organizational effectiveness.

About the Team

The Program Management Office (PMO) plays a critical role in bringing Labcorp's most strategic new diagnostic tests and capabilities to market. We partner across Research & Development, Clinical, Commercial, Operations, Information Technology, and Business teams to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through launch.

Our team is responsible for managing high-priority programs that advance Labcorp's innovation strategy, enhance patient care, and deliver new healthcare solutions to providers and patients worldwide. In addition to supporting successful product launches, we continuously improve how the organization executes strategic initiatives through effective portfolio management, governance, process improvement, and adoption of emerging technologies.

As a PMO intern, you will contribute to high-impact projects focused on artificial intelligence, innovation and vendor management, organizational effectiveness, and knowledge management. This role provides a unique opportunity to work with senior leaders, gain exposure to enterprise-wide decision-making, and help shape the future of how Labcorp delivers innovation and executes strategy.

Internship Details:

  • Duration: 11 weeks, full-time

  • Dates of Internship: June 1, 2027-August 13, 2027

  • Application Window: 9/9/26 - 10/9/26

  • Pay Range: $20-25/hr.

  • All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

  • Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
