The Inventory Manager oversees the service supply chain, ensuring inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse space, and managing logistics for parts distribution.
The summary above was generated by AI

Apptronik is a human-centered robotics company developing AI-powered robots to support humanity in every facet of life. Our flagship humanoid robot, Apollo, is built to collaborate thoughtfully with people, starting with critical industries such as manufacturing and logistics, with future applications in healthcare, the home, and beyond.
We operate at the cutting edge of embodied AI, applying our expertise across the full robotics stack to solve some of society's most important problems. You will join a team dedicated to bringing Apollo to market at scale, tackling the complex challenges like safety, commercialization, and mass production to change the world for the better.

The Mission

The Service Inventory Manager is the heartbeat of our service supply chain. You don’t just move boxes; you ensure the pulse of our global support operation remains steady. You are responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our service inventory - from the moment it arrives at our facility to the moment it reaches a technician’s hands or a regional hub. You will be the architect of a pristine physical environment, a guardian of data accuracy, and the primary engine that gets parts to where they need to be, exactly when they are needed.

The GSS Mindset

In Global Services & Support, we don’t just "fix things". We deliver confidence, at scale.

  • Customer-First Obsession: You don’t just resolve tasks; you prioritize the human experience. Every build, fix, or workflow is measured by its impact on the people who rely on our technology.
  • The Ultimate Partner: You are a collaborator at your core. You act as the essential bridge between the "messy reality" of the field and our internal ambitions, building trust across departments to ensure a unified effort.
  • Operational Evolution: You don't just follow a process; you own it. You find joy in creating order where none exists and possess the discipline to constantly "improve the system."
  • Dynamic Adaptability: You thrive in a "small-team" environment. You are a true team player who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and navigating fast-paced change with patience and a relentless focus on the solution. We are the shepherds of chaos.
  • The Culture Catalyst: You are the person everyone wants on their project team. You bring a "solution-first" energy to every interaction, acting as a cultural ambassador who elevates the morale and standards of those around you. You understand that how we work together is just as important as the work itself.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations & Organization
  • Space Optimization: Design and maintain a logical warehouse layout that maximizes efficiency, safety, and accessibility.
  • Inventory Integrity: Lead regular cycle counts and full physical audits to ensure our digital records are a perfect reflection of physical reality.
  • Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, "tour-ready," and safe working environment, adhering to all local warehouse safety regulations.
Inventory Management
  • Inbound Logistics: Receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments, ensuring all items are accounted for, serialized, and undamaged.
  • Stock Maintenance: Proactively monitor stock levels and trigger reorder points to prevent service delays or "out of stock" scenarios.
  • Asset Tracking: Manage the serialization of high-value parts and maintain meticulously detailed records of specialized service kits.
Pick, Pack, & Ship
  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack parts for regional distribution, ensuring every item is secured for transit and arrives in perfect condition.
  • Logistics Coordination: Partner with carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL) to manage outgoing shipments, including the preparation of packing lists and necessary documentation.
  • Regional Replenishment: Support our regional hubs to ensure they are consistently stocked with essential service components to minimize downtime.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: 3–5 years in warehouse management, inventory control, or logistics.
  • Logistics Proficiency: Solid understanding of shipping carriers, transit times, and shipping software.
  • Technical Savvy: Expert-level experience with Inventory Management Systems (IMS) or ERP software (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, or Business Central).
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
  • Attention to Detail: A "zero-error" mindset regarding SKU numbers, quantities, and shipping addresses.
Success Metrics
  • Inventory Accuracy: Maintain a >99% accuracy rate between physical and digital stock.
  • Order Cycle Time: Minimize the time from "order received" to "out the door."
  • System Uptime: Happy robots with the parts they need, exactly when they need them.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times
  • Must be able to stand and walk on manufacturing floors for extended periods during supplier visits
  • Vision to read printed materials, a computer screen, and inspect parts and assemblies
  • Hearing and speech to communicate
