Investment Operations Analyst

Long Angle, the world’s largest private community of very high net worth (VHNW) individuals is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst (“Analyst”) to join our team. The Analyst will work closely with firm leadership and play a broad and active role across the entire investment process, including platform operations, member experience and relations, reporting and education. There will be ample opportunities for the Analyst to get direct exposure to leading private market managers. Long Angle is an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment where the Analyst will also work on special projects such as new investment product launches under the direction of senior leadership. Successful completion of duties can be a pathway to an increased role in sourcing and diligence of private investment opportunities.

Long Angle Overview

Long Angle enables its members to access leading private market funds and co-investments across Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture, Energy, Real Estate/Assets, Hedge Funds and other strategies. Since 2021, Long Angle has invested over $550 million across 60+ investments with 1,000+ unique investors. Outside of the investment arm, Long Angle offers an array of member benefits, including in-person events across the world, a vibrant online forum, VHNW peer advisory groups, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor existing investments and assist in preparation of investor-facing materials, including quarterly reporting and investment activity.

  • Support the creation and management of special purpose vehicles (“SPVs”) and other investment vehicles as needed.

  • Contribute to the development and management of various investment products including fund of funds and Private Placement Life Insurance funds.

  • Closely support the Investor Relations team to provide best-in-class client support including thorough, timely, and thoughtful responses to investor inquiries.

  • Develop an extensive knowledge of Long Angle’s current and future institutional-quality private investments.

  • Collaborate with engineering, product and design teams to improve investors’ online digital experience.

  • Support the ongoing improvement of the investor experience including investment offering materials, client onboarding and educational content.

  • Closely support investment operations including, but not limited to, completing subscription documents, forecasting capital calls and tracking investor commitments and wire activity.

  • Assist in improving internal business and investment processes, supporting other functions as necessary (fundraising, operations, legal), and new investment product launches and key initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in private markets, ideally within asset management, RIA, family office, endowment, fund of funds, or similar investment organizations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field.

  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to distill complex investment content for both internal and external materials.

  • Proven experience in investor relations or operations within private equity or financial services.

  • Experience or interest in working on client-facing online/digital investment products.

  • High proficiency with data management and productivity tools such as Excel, Airtable, Claude, Hubspot, and DocuSign, and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.

  • Process-orientated, with the desire to contribute to continuous improvement at an institutional-caliber investment organization.

  • Team player with the ability to work independently with strong project management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with SPV and feeder fund structures is highly desirable.

  • Experience working with Very High Net Worth individuals is beneficial.

Salary: Competitive annual salary commensurate with the candidate's experience, proven track record, specific scope of the role, and location. Target full comp package of $90,000 base salary + performance-based bonus and equity.

Location: Remote role anywhere in the United States; open to US citizens and non-citizens with US work authorization.
