The Hyperscaler Team is seeking a Senior IP Architects to drive technical engagements with Hyperscaler customers. You will have the opportunity to own all technical aspects of an account as well as serve in cross-functional roles including strategy, business and product roadmap development, technical solution design and delivery.  You will work with industry leading Hyperscaler Customers, contribute to industry changing technologies and projects. Coupled with direct touch to Nokia product development organizations, you will be joining a highly talented and supportive team.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Account teams and BU to develop and execute technical account strategies
  • Develop close technical working relationships with Customers and effectively promote solutions offered by Nokia
  • Provide BU feedback on Customer requirements to guide product direction and solutions alignment with customer business/network priorities
  • Develop deep understanding of Customer’s business and application
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to Sales teams
  • Drive and manage RFI, RFP, Demos, POC, NPI, test plan creation, and network design
  • Develop tailored customer validation and simulation environments
Qualifications
  • At least 10 years in various engineering roles and 5 years in customer facing roles 
  • Experience with Linux, Scripting and DevOps Development
  • Expert Knowledge of switching and routing protocols
  • Expert Knowledge of WAN, Data Center Fabric, Data Center Interconnect architectures
  • Competence of the competitive vendor landscape
  • Driven, self-motivated, and a “take-ownership” attitude
  • Exceptional customer facing skills 
  • Good listening, verbal, written, presentation and project management skills
  • Multifaceted and the ability to learn, adapt, and deliver quickly under pressure from many stakeholders
  • Ability to work hands on when required in a laboratory environment, both in customer labs and Nokia labs

It would be nice if you also had:

  • B.S. Degree in Computer Networking or similar or equivalent experience required
  • Optical and Wide Area Networking knowledge a plus
  • Experience with Open Source Network Operating Systems
