The IT Financial Analyst III is responsible for the leading development of expense projections to support forecast and budget and monitor monthly variances to identify trends in IT.

Essential Functions

  • Prepares monthly IT department analysis and reports to maintain expenditure controls and to identify trends affecting financial needs
  • Prepare integrated financial analysis and reports for management on a timely and accurate basis
  • Participates in the development of financial processes and reporting required to effectively manage and optimize the organizations usage of cloud resources
  • Analyzes monthly department reports to maintain cloud expenditure controls, proactively identifies trends affecting future financial requirements and makes appropriate recommendations
  • Assists with cost and usage analysis, trending and forecasting, buying strategies, and best practices for cloud adoption
  • Identify trends and present findings to senior management.  Make appropriate improvements to internal analysis processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.
  • Support quarterly review, forecast process, and annual budget process
  • Sets objectives for own job with the understanding of how output would affect and impact other job areas related to own job.
  • Contributes and provides input to the development of operational area goals within the context of own job area. 
  • Work consists of tasks that are typically not routine, works independently and applies discretion within established operational boundaries and procedures. Work direction is only provided for new areas of work or unique assignments
  • Problems and issues faced are vague, and require reasoning and analysis to address problems and issues.  Updates and/or modifies work methods based on past experiences, and identifies solutions to problems by recognizing similarities through data trends.
  • Has higher autonomy to arrive at solutions to non-routine problems within established operational boundaries and procedures. Uses personal experiences, makes reasonable judgment calls, and may call on other resources where necessary to identify solutions
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of five (3) years of experience in accounting or finance required.
  • Managed care or healthcare experience preferred.

Competencies, Knowledge, and Skills

  • Ability to balance competing priorities and manage several time-sensitive projects at once in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
  • Ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion
  • Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills; listening and critical thinking
  • Presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders at all different levels
  • Familiar with a variety of analysis concepts, practices and procedures

Licensure and Certification:

  • HDI, ITIL, or Microsoft Certification is preferred

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • On-call availability
  • Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines

Compensation Range:

$72,200.00 - $115,500.00

CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
