The Serve fleet has been delighting merchants, customers, and pedestrians along the way in Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta and Chicago while doing commercial deliveries. We’re looking for talented individuals who will grow robotic deliveries from surprising novelty to efficient ubiquity.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer is tasked to design, implement, and maintain enterprise IAM systems and processes. This role supports authentication, authorization, provisioning, and governance processes while ensuring compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.

JOB DUTIES

  • Design, deploy, and maintain IAM solutions (e.g., Okta, etc.)

  • Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and federation services

  • Integrate applications with identity providers using SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect

  • Manage user lifecycle processes (joiner, mover, leaver)

  • Automate provisioning and deprovisioning workflows

  • Maintain role-based access control (RBAC) models

  • Conduct regular access reviews and certifications

  • Enforce least-privilege access principles

  • Support compliance initiatives (SOX, etc.)

  • Monitor and respond to identity-related security incidents

  • Maintain audit logs and documentation

  • Troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for IAM-related incidents

  • Develop and maintain IAM policies, standards, and procedures

  • Develop scripts and automation using Okta Workflows, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages to automate IAM workflows

  • Work with APIs for system integrations

  • Improve IAM operational efficiency through automation

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, & SKILLS

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 3–7+ years of experience in IAM or related security roles

  • Demonstrated experience designing and administering enterprise IAM solutions, focused on Okta

  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams spanning IT, Security, HR, and business units

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, including GCP, AWS, or Azure

  • Okta, Google Auth, Jumpcloud, Auth0

  • Identity governance and administration (IGA)

  • Privileged Access Management (PAM)

  • Okta

  • Jumpcloud

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, Security, HR, and business teams

  • Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)

  • CISSP

  • CISM
