We're creating the ultimate destination for our sports, and we're looking for people like you to join us!

THE ROLE:

At FloSports, the IT team is the backbone that enables every employee to do their best work. We own the technology that powers our people, from the devices in their hands to the networks they connect through to the security posture that protects our business. When a major event goes live to millions of viewers, our infrastructure is rock solid. When an employee starts on day one, they're productive immediately.

As IT Manager, you will lead and build a team that includes both IT operations and Cybersecurity. You'll own everything from endpoint management and identity infrastructure to compliance frameworks and security operations. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise, people leadership, and strategic thinking.

Our culture is built on principles of ownership and pragmatism. We don't just keep the lights on. We build systems that scale, automate what can be automated, and continuously improve. We believe IT should be a strategic enabler, not a bottleneck.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As IT Manager, you will operate with a high degree of ownership, leading the teams and systems that keep FloSports secure and productive. You will:

Lead the IT and Cybersecurity Teams

  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across IT operations and security functions

  • Set team priorities, establish SLAs, and drive accountability for service delivery

  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and excellent user experience

Own Our Corporate Technology Stack

  • Architect and manage our core infrastructure: Google Workspace, Okta, Cisco Meraki, and Mosyle

  • Design and maintain enterprise WiFi and network infrastructure using Cisco Meraki, including BGP where needed

  • Own endpoint management for our Apple fleet, ensuring consistent configuration, security, and lifecycle management through Mosyle

Drive Our Security and Compliance Posture

  • Lead IAM strategy and execution through Okta—access reviews, least-privilege enforcement, onboarding/offboarding automation

  • Drive SOC 2 and CIS Controls compliance, owning audit readiness and remediation

  • Establish security KPIs, track posture, and report to leadership on risk and progress

Build Systems That Scale

  • Implement IT asset management practices that provide accurate inventory and audit-ready records

  • Automate repetitive processes—if we're doing it more than twice, we should be scripting it

  • Evaluate and deploy new technologies that improve productivity, security, and operational efficiency

Partner Across the Organization

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and People teams to understand needs and deliver solutions

  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts that serve our interests

  • Lead IT projects from planning through execution, including office infrastructure, system migrations, and new deployments

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 5+ years in IT operations, systems administration, or infrastructure

  • 3+ years leading teams, including direct management of technical staff

  • Track record of building and developing high-performing teams

  • Google Workspace: Administration, security configuration, and organizational management at scale

  • Okta: IAM architecture, SSO/MFA implementation, lifecycle management, and access governance

  • Cisco Meraki: Switches, wireless, security appliances, certification strongly preferred (CCNA, CCNP, CMNA, CMNO, or ECMS)

  • Mosyle + Apple: Enterprise Mac and iOS management, policy enforcement, and zero-touch deployment

  • Networking: BGP fundamentals, WiFi design, and enterprise network architecture

  • IT Asset Management: Tools and practices for tracking hardware and software lifecycle

  • Working knowledge of SOC 2 and CIS Controls

  • Experience driving compliance initiatives and supporting audits

  • Understanding of IAM best practices and security operations fundamentals

  • Proven ability to lead complex IT projects from concept to completion

  • Strong communication skills you can translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships

BONUS POINTS:

  • Cisco Meraki certifications (CMNA, CMNO, ECMS)

  • Experience in media, streaming, or high-growth technology companies

  • Security certifications (Security+, CISSP, CISM)

  • Experience leading organizations through SOC 2 audits

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • ITIL or PMP certification
