Job Description

We’re looking for an IT Product Manager to join the team that owns the technology platform behind CLEAResult’s energy efficiency programs. This role focuses on field services technology: scheduling, routing, work order management, and the field tools contractors use on site. This role will help define and bring to market a CLEAResult-built solution that fits within our broader platform.

You’ll work alongside a team of product managers who each own a different part of the platform, with guidance from senior product leaders. Your day-to-day is learning what operations, quality assurance, and field teams struggle with, turning that into clear requirements and prototypes, and working with product development to deliver. You’ll also work with marketing and growth teams to launch what you build. You aren’t expected to arrive as an energy efficiency or field services expert. You do need to listen well, learn quickly, and move from idea to working product with confidence. Work order management and field tools are your starting focus, and you’ll have the chance to take on additional product areas over time.

You are a great fit if you can…

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for field services products, including scheduling, routing, work order management, and field tools, aligned to program and business outcomes.
  • Run discovery with program teams, operations, quality assurance, and field staff, and translate what you learn into a prioritized roadmap.
  • Create clear product requirements documents and prototypes that align stakeholders and guide delivery.
  • Define a menu of standard product options and configurations, making the tradeoffs of each explicit so stakeholders can decide well.
  • Lead requirements workshops with program, field, operations, and business analyst partners.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and IT to deliver enterprise solutions that span multiple technologies, making scope and tradeoff decisions and keeping delivery on track.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for technology partners and vendors, aligning on requirements and holding delivery to expectations.
  • Maintain a clear picture of the existing tools used across energy efficiency programs, and work with stakeholders to define and sequence future migration paths.
  • Define and track success metrics, using data and field feedback to iterate and prioritize.
  • Work with marketing and growth teams to launch products into the market.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow product managers to keep the platform coherent and integrated.
  • Act as the decision point for complex requirements and prioritization in your product area, protecting product quality and consistency amid competing priorities.
  • Follow established change and release management practices to deliver reliably.

Exciting candidates will have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or related business field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience defining a roadmap.
  • Experience with feature delivery and the tradeoffs involved in building a technology product.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted processes and tools, such as Claude Cowork, Claude Code, and/or Claude Design, to accelerate requirements, prototypes, and analysis.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to connect the big picture to the details.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with comfort presenting at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build alignment across leadership, cross-functional partners, and clients in a matrixed environment.
  • A self-starter’s curiosity, a consultant’s mindset, and a willingness to experiment and learn quickly.

Strongly preferred experience/qualifications…

  • Working knowledge of one or more digital platforms, such as work order or field service management, CRM, digital commerce, CMS, or PIM.
  • Experience with field service, scheduling and routing, work order management, or field-tool products.
  • Experience with energy efficiency, renewable energy, and/or utility technology concepts, practices, and procedures.
