Manage IT programs in the Lifesciences industry, aligning objectives with strategy and ensuring timely execution within budget while managing stakeholders and risks.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Runs projects and/or programs from inception to launch.
- Develop and manage relationships with senior business leaders in the assigned vertical.
- Become a trusted technology advisor and solution broker for business partners within the assigned vertical.
- Ensures the execution of the program is carried out timely and within budget.
- Aligns program objectives and initiatives with the portfolio strategy accounting for any cross-program dependencies.
- Establishes consistent communication with stakeholders to understand expectations and business strategy as well as to communicate status of program and related projects.
- Provides project and/or program level updates and summaries to executive leadership.
- Coordinates with Procurement to develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) for external services and align budget accordingly.
- May manage vendor relationship(s)
- Partners with Application Development, Infrastructure, Security and/or Data team to align business need with technology road map, customer expectations and to develop execution plans.
- Plans for program risk and develops strategies for dealing with potential risks & creating mitigation plans.
- Maintains program budget and ensures resources are appropriately allocated.
- Assist IT Demand management in identifying the need for project requests and assisting business in articulating business value.
- Partner with IT Executive leadership to define vision with business units.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Business, or related field
- 8 years of experience leading/managing IT programs/projects in Lifesciences Industry
- Full range of PM skills and ability to communicate on following aspects:
- Stakeholder Management
- Budget Management
- Risk Management
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Proficient in various types of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc.)
- Familiar with various IT and PM tools – JIRA, Confluence, SNOW SPM, etc.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills across technical and senior operational management audiences
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent knowledge of project cost management including preparing cost estimates to determine project budgets, projecting Estimates to Complete (ETC), Estimates at Completion (EAC) and managing to total project budget
- Understands all aspects of IT software development lifecycle
