The IT Project Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of projects and daily IT operations. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong project management skills and a background in technical support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating IT initiatives, managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring clear communication between various departments. Success in this role request exceptional multitasking ability, proactive communication, and dedication in maintaining accuracy and organization across multiple concurrent priorities. The IT project coordinator bridges operations needs with project objectives.
Job Duties
- Track project timelines, progress, roadblocks, and deliverables
- Facilitate onboarding new users within the organization
- Provisioning and configuration of laptops, tablets, ipads, and related peripherals
- Inventory and asset tracking of all related IT & OT devices
- Create SOP for IT related tasks such as onboarding, incident management, and system maintenance
- Facilitate and track POAM-related items to ensure deliverables in a timely manner
- Provide level 1 & 2 helpdesk support, including ticket triage, troubleshooting, and escalation as needed
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, data security practices, and change control procedures
- Assist with permissions management, and access provisioning in accordance with IT policies
- Manage and maintain accurate records of company software inventory, including license tracking, renewals, and compliance
- Initiate Pos for IT purchases, renewals and Wos, tracking all logistical aspects from initial ordering to completed delivery
- Facilitate equipment purchases for IT/OT equipment and office setups
Requirements
- Associates degree at minimum
- 1-5 years of level 1 help desk experience
- 1-3 years of level 2 help desk experience
- 1-3 years of project management experience
- CAPM or related certification
- 1-5 years of experience with M365 applications
- Knowledge of general office machines (Printer, Scanners, laptops)
Work Environment - Conditions vary and include:
- Controlled office environment
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift to 15lbs pounds at times.
