Role Summary:

A successful candidate in this position will lead team(s) of employees and consultants to implement solutions under our Enterprise Program at various Flowserve plants and locations globally. The scope includes complete end-to-end implementations, technical upgrades and various module implementations. The candidate needs to have excellent communications skills and a strong desire to deliver results while managing multiple projects simultaneously. This is a hands-on project manager position, and it requires the incumbent to participate in and lead all phases of the project, i.e., design, development, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.  In this role, you report to the IT Director for Enterprise Programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, deliver, and support ERP, PLM and/or CPQ implementations that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions and technology solutions for Flowserve.

  • Manage implementation risk, manage project economics including planning and budgeting, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the business as well as IT governance and be accountable for execution.

  • Manage the day-to-day interactions with business management and sponsorship.

  • Coach, mentor, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

  • Ensure end-to-end project governance and drive standardization in the processes.

  • Lead a cross-functional team to achieve project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.

  • Use technology to ensure all parties are informed on schedule and budget.

  • Keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Information Systems Manager, IT Project Manager, Application Developer, Systems Analyst, or in a related occupation.

  • A Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science is required.

  • Working experience in one or more of the following applications as PM: PLM (PTC Windchill) and/or CPQ (Oracle CPQ).

  • Experience with one or more of the following: Smartsheet, Azure DevOps and/or Microsoft Projects experience.

  • Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment.

  • Excellent organization and presentation skills. 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English).

Preferred:

  • Working experience in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.

  • Willing to travel when required, up to 15% domestic and/or international travel to any of the world-wide Flowserve sites.
