Responsible for managing IT project teams including end user and third-party provider activities pertaining to the design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation of application product and services. 

  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Under general supervision, manage team and assigned projects, including coordination, status reports, and stability of the project work effort; manager financial, scope, and critical path for assigned projects. 

  • Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet customer needs and requirements. 

  • Coordinate communication with all enterprise areas that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the project. 

  • Utilize and implement project management processes and methodologies for IT that ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet the customer’s expectations. 

  • Assist Program Manager(s) in partnering with senior management in the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities to achieve enterprise goals. 

  • Possess high-level knowledge and proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques. 

  • Work directly with partners and clients to determine project scope and specifications. 

  • Coordinate the work of design and development teams to implement online designs. 

  • Review progress, manage resources, and ensure overall quality of completed website. 

  • Serve as liaison between team members and functional area management requesting projects. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Education:  

  • Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience. 

Experience:  

  • 6 – 8 years. 

Skills: 

  • Possess high-level knowledge and proficiency in Project Management methodologies, Resource Management practices, and Change Management techniques. 

  • Knowledge of major package application software. 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills including ability to develop presentations and present to management. 

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of business principles, practices, and procedures. 

  • Functional expertise and fundamental business knowledge to contribute to the strategic direction of the function and supported client group(s). May need to seek guidance on highly complex issues.
