This is an on-site position located at our Austin, TX location.  

How you will contribute 

The IT Support Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for staff seeking technical support, overseeing troubleshooting, maintenance, account creation, and the configuration of workstations, printers, and associated hardware and software. Responsibilities include providing remote assistance and liaising with third-party vendors as necessary. This role may require availability outside of standard business hours to ensure executive meeting support.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide rapid, hands-on support for IT, mobile devices, A/V systems, and software, particularly during meetings.
  • Provide setup and live support for board meetings, virtual conferences, and town halls.
  • Handle onsite and remote technical support cases through phone, email, and ticket submission.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and applications.
  • Diagnose hardware problems with A/V systems, workstations, and printers.
  • Identify root causes of technical problems, including network, hardware, and cabling issues.
  • Administer M365, ensuring reliable operations, security, and performance across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and related services.
  • Manage user accounts, group permissions, and license assignments.
  • Maintain and support network infrastructure including switching, firewalls, and wireless equipment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and/or relevant professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 to include Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Entra, and Intune.
  • Proficient knowledge of setting up A/V equipment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Deliver top-tier technical support to the C-level team.
  • Occasionally work outside of normal business hours to be the technical contact for executive meetings.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and to reach with hands and arms.
