Technamo is a Tier-I Contractor to provide IT Services to virginia govt. agencies (70+ entities) and contracted to provide services to state govt. New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Delaware and Maryland govt. agencies.
Job DescriptionExperience : 9+ years
Hands-on development in Java, JEE, Spring MVC and Spring Boot; Cloud solutions and architectures on a public cloud provider; Continuous Integration and automated testing strategies; Implementing API Service architectures (SOAP and REST); Working with RDBMS/NoSQL databases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer using the Spring Boot framework.
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Java and OOP concepts.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, both consuming and developing.
- Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Ability to write comprehensive unit tests using JUnit or TestNG.
- Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
