JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Jr. Billing Analyst is responsible for assisting the Company’s billing operations and acts as a point of contact for internal billing concerns. The Billing Analyst assists by implementing and following administrative services and procedures, and communicates on a daily basis via phone and email to assist with questions, concerns, and accuracy.

Essential Functions

  1. Ensures the daily support of internal and external clients, answering questions regarding billing, invoices, accuracy, etc.
  2. Researches various payroll issues for clients and internal teammates.
  3. Professionally services internal and external clients and collaborates with other representatives.
  4. Excels in customer service to ensure all clients are highly satisfied.
  5. Coordinates with other departments to ensure the accuracy of billing information.
  6. Monitors and responds to incoming requests for the Billing Team and provides supports as needed.
  7. Routinely reconciles client account billings and account discrepancies.
  8. Creates and maintains reports as required by Management.
  9. Monitors and evaluates current clients and their contracts and service agreements.
  10. Prepares and sends invoices.
  11. Audits invoices and payments for accuracy; implements and enforces practices to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  12. Other job duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

  1. College degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field.
  2. Needs to reside in the Eastern Time Zone
  3. Strong attention to detail.
  4. High understanding of and ability to develop proficiency in Company software and all other applicable software programs.
  5. Intermediate Excel skills.
  6. Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and accountable.
  7. Excellent communication skills, responding to high volume of inquiries, and comfortable communicating in serious scenarios.
  8. Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to manage and complete multiple projects and activities with strict time sensitive deadlines.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/scanners. Overtime work may be required during quarter end and year end processes.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday, and the employee is required to work an approved schedule that falls within the Company business hours of 8am-6pm.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is in a stationary position operating computer and other office equipment. The employee additionally will stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee in this position will frequently communicate with employees and clients, and must be able to do so clearly, effectively, and professionally.
