About the role: 

We are seeking talented Junior Software Engineers to join our Engineering team, focused on designing, building, and deploying scalable tools. The ideal candidate will excel at tackling complex challenges, be comfortable collaborating with senior engineers to deliver new features and capabilities, and enjoy working at a fast pace on a variety of tasks. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain robust tools and solutions that meaningfully improve engineering team productivity and velocity.
  • Partner closely with software engineers and product managers to architect scalable, efficient systems that grow with the business.
  • Collaborate across teams to support and continuously improve a shared technical platform, serving as a reliable steward of shared infrastructure.
  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code that upholds high engineering standards and sets a bar for the team.
  • Champion a culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Computer Science with 2+ years of industry experience, or M.S. in Computer Science with relevant internship experience.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills — you can diagnose complex issues, trace root causes, and automate away recurring pain points.
  • Clear, confident communicator who can translate technical tradeoffs into plain language for engineers, PMs, and leadership alike.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficient in Python, with a track record of writing high-quality, production-ready code; additional language experience is a bonus.
  • Experience in the Generative AI space is a strong plus.
