About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to support and grow Solenis’ industrial water treatment programs in the Longview, TX region. This territory includes chemical plants, manufacturing facilities, power generation sites, and other industrial operations that rely on complex cooling, boiler, and wastewater systems.

In this role, you will serve as the primary technical advisor and commercial partner for your assigned accounts. You will ensure treatment programs operate safely, efficiently, and reliably while delivering strong customer value and driving commercial growth.

ResponsibilitiesTechnical Program Management

• Conduct routine system monitoring, testing, and optimization for cooling towers, boilers, and wastewater treatment systems
• Troubleshoot chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, analyzers, and monitoring devices
• Perform audits, system surveys, corrosion monitoring, and performance diagnostics
• Identify program improvement opportunities to enhance reliability, efficiency, compliance, and asset protection
• Ensure programs meet customer safety standards and regulatory requirements

Customer Support & Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary on‑site technical resource and trusted advisor for industrial clients
• Build and strengthen long‑term relationships with operations, engineering, maintenance, reliability, and procurement teams
• Develop and deliver technical reports, KPIs, and performance reviews
• Manage issue resolution through root cause analysis and corrective action recommendations
• Communicate program performance and value clearly and effectively

Commercial Ownership

• Own revenue, pricing execution, and contract performance for assigned accounts
• Identify, qualify, and drive new business opportunities within customer facilities and the broader region
• Build value‑based proposals and support program expansion initiatives
• Manage inventory levels, coordinate chemical deliveries, and support on‑site logistics
• Collaborate with internal Solenis teams to ensure seamless service and product support

Safety & Compliance

• Model safe work practices at all customer sites in alignment with Solenis’ safety culture
• Follow customer-specific safety protocols including contractor onboarding, LOTO, confined space requirements, and site access rules
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, audits, compliance actions, and program performance

QualificationsRequired

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience will be considered)
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on industrial water treatment experience
• Strong knowledge of cooling tower, boiler water, and wastewater treatment programs
• Proven mechanical aptitude, including ability to troubleshoot feed systems, pumps, and monitoring equipment
• Demonstrated success in customer relationship management and account retention
• Strong communication, technical writing, and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred

• Prior work in refineries, chemical plants, paper mills, power plants, or large manufacturing operations
• Knowledge of customer safety programs and industrial site protocols

The expected compensation range for this position is between $75,900.00 and $126,500.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
