Job Description:

The Key Account Manager will develop opportunities to grow our revenue, while managing the day-to-day business to ensure we optimize our current book of business with select strategic accounts.  Through industry and operational insight, as well as technical product expertise, this individual will expand our business, optimize our margins, and enable our products and services to be sold more effectively into their accounts.  The position develops and maintains key customer relationships and introduces programs that expand our portfolio of products and services while delivering value.  Focus is on optimizing current business, while developing programs that enable account expansion. 

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

Optimizing current book of business to ensure profitability, while delivering expected customer satisfaction scores

Develop new revenue expansion opportunities via category/product expansion as well as market share gains with existing accounts Develop and present new programs and services - that enhance our value to the customer base within their respective Accounts. 

These new programs or services will need to be presented to board level- ie. acquisitions, or R&D investments

Understand and monitor the USA food service equipment landscape and be able to confidently articulate the value that our products, services, and technologies can bring.

Lead, manage, and inspire business development reps, leads, and fulfillment by exhibiting passion for success while encouraging a culture of support and strong moral ethics. 

Protect and Strengthen the KineticoPro brand, by representing Kinetico in all negotiations and communications in a manner that upholds The Vision and Values of Kinetico.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Demonstrate ability to understand challenges, and recommend new ways to improve customer operations, and improved customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed Annual Account Revenue Goals
  • Develop expansion programs to increase water care account shar

Key Challenges and Decisions

  • Align corporate strategy with account communication that leads to growing our revenue
  • Continued evaluation, understanding, and communication of the water treatment landscape and the value our product and services can bring.
  • Continued equipment and program evaluations and recommendations.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree
  • Required: 5-7+ years of related work experience.
  • Strong skill set in problem solving
  • Strong need for collaboration, and customer focused approach
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with internal and external customers
  • Knowledge of water treatment, with the ability to communicate application knowledge
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or comparable CRM tool
  • Technical sales experience
