Job Summary:
GuideWell is hiring an Analyst, Decision Intelligence Target & Goal Setting to join the Customer & Decision Intelligence team inside the new Enterprise VOC, Consumer/Customer & Insights function. The Analyst supports how the enterprise develop KPIs, sets targets, builds baselines, and reads performance against them — pulling the data, running the analysis on modern analytical platforms, and helping the team translate the read into recommendations for Finance, program owners, and senior leaders. Program owners, and the rest of the Decision Intelligence team come to this role when they need a clean read on performance against targets, a defensible baseline for the next target-setting cycle, or a plausibility check on a target someone has proposed. The Analyst pulls signal across the enterprise's performance data, builds baseline and target-setting work on modern analytical platforms supported by AI-augmented tools, and contributes to the recommendations the team ships. We are looking for an early-career analyst with strong quantitative reasoning, real curiosity about how targets get set and how performance gets read, fluency with modern analytical and AI-augmented platforms, clear written communication, and a track record of analytical work that landed in real decisions.

Essential Functions:

  • The essential functions listed represent the major duties of this role, additional duties may be assigned.
  • Support the team’s target-setting work — KPI development, baseline construction, target decomposition, plausibility checks, and performance reading. Pull the data, run the analysis, and contribute the read.
  • Run the recurring performance-read work. Track performance against targets across the enterprise’s KPI portfolio, flag what is moving and where, and contribute to the team’s read on it.
  • Partner with Finance and program owners on target-setting cycles. Bring the analytical read into the room, help shape the baseline conversation, and translate the discussion into the work the team needs to do next.
  • Contribute to target-setting recommendations. Hold the writing and visual standard the team expects; help make sure work lands with Finance and program owners in time to change the next planning cycle.
  • Carry the team’s target-setting standards — baseline methodology, plausibility framing, performance narrative — forward in the work this role contributes.
  • Read performance across the enterprise’s KPI portfolio. Spot what is moving, contextualize it against history, and surface it to the Sr. Lead, Lead, and Sr. Analyst seats on the team.
  • Cross-pollinate with the rest of the Decision Intelligence team — marketing measurement, segmentation, experimentation, engagement. Pull those signals into the target-setting and performance-reading work.
  • Build out craft — methodology fluency, AI-augmented platform fluency, narrative quality — over the early years on the team, with coaching from the Sr. Lead, Lead, and Sr. Analyst seats and from the Sr. Manager.
