This position is an opening on the Nokia Infrastructure Team in Westford, MA supporting a datacenter which is mission critical for software teams around the globe, as well as on-site hardware development lab & desktop environments.  Candidate must be able to work closely with other individuals on a small team and must also be able to adapt to situations that may arise on a day-to-day basis, while getting pulled in different directions, jumping from one task to another.

Responsibilities
  • Build, configure, and install Linux-based systems for deployment in a lab & data center type of environment
    • Unbox, rack & stack, cable
    • Install & configure Linux OS, as well as creating testbed files
  • Support regression test bed infrastructure, troubleshooting failed tests & processes
  • Troubleshoot network, software and user desktop environment issues
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
  • Knowledge scripting concepts.  Examples of which are:
    • Shell scripts
    • Python
    • Ansible
    • Perl
  • Some knowledge of virtual machines & containers(Docker) – ProxMox, VMWare, VirtualBox, etc…
  • Knowledge of networking concepts
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software and hardware issues
  • Good communications skills
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs of equipment
