The Lead Account Manager will drive sales growth for LNG technology and equipment, develop strategies, and manage key customer relationships while ensuring profitable revenue and market leadership.
The summary above was generated by AI

This senior position will be accountable for delivering sales and profitable revenue growth for sales of liquefaction technology and equipment product offerings for the liquefied natural gas (LNG) market.  This includes gathering and analyzing market data, competitor landscape, and customer requirements to establish and implement selling and contracting strategies for this LNG market segment. In addition, the individual will be responsible for developing new offerings and leading marketing efforts as demanded by this market.  This position is required to understand the market dynamics, build and strengthen relationships with customers and partners, and guide a Honeywell multi-disciplinary team of engineering, development, product, technology, legal, finance and manufacturing personnel.

Honeywell LNG LLC is the leader in providing natural gas liquefaction technology and equipment to the LNG market having been selected for 30 major LNG projects worldwide in the past ten years, both onshore and offshore (FLNG).  Honeywell LNG has provided technology and equipment to over 140 LNG/FLNG trains within LNG facilities operating in 20 different countries.  Honeywell LNG has been and continues to be said leader in this market since late 1960s.  Our scope in a major export facility may be a relatively small % of the overall facility capital investment, but it is the heart of a facility whose investment can run into billions of dollars.  Less experienced competitors are making inroads into both the onshore and FLNG markets, especially in less demanding near-shore floating applications and small and mid-scale LNG train sizes. Honeywell LNG continues to develop new processes and equipment configurations in order to meet future industry requirements for both smaller, modular units as well as larger individual LNG trains. This position serves as a critical need in guiding internal developments while managing customer and partner relationships, developing and executing sales/marketing strategies, executing contracts and delivering commercial results. Strengthening Honeywell LNG’s leadership position and protecting our proprietary technology and commercial risk profile are key factors to our continued success.

Honeywell International Inc is also the premier supplier of natural gas pretreatment technology and equipment via its Honeywell UOP division and digital technologies and equipment via its Honeywell Process Automation division. This position will be required to interface and coordinate with these other divisions to enable Honeywell to supply a complete “End to End” LNG technology product offering to the LNG market.

Honeywell’s “End-to-End” LNG solutions represent an industry leading comprehensive suite of technologies aimed at addressing the challenges faced throughout the LNG production process. Honeywell is the only company to offer differentiated end-to-end process technologies in LNG along with cutting edge automation and state of the art software capabilities under the same umbrella. Honeywell’s expertise and technology provide critical support for LNG operators in optimizing operations, minimizing emissions, and improving profitability.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to annual revenue, order intake goals and cash flow by closing engineering services and equipment contracts as guided by the annual operating plan

  • Establish pricing and marketing strategies for LNG product offerings and perform market intelligence analysis

  • Guide proposals, development, product, engineering and manufacturing teams in developing new product offerings, marketing and improving competitiveness

  • Maintain and grow Honeywell’s leading position as the supplier of LNG technology and equipment to the growing and evolving LNG market through advertising, publication of papers, electronic media and attendance at industry conferences. This includes managing relationships with the key shareholders in these markets.

  • Actively manage relationships and contracts as the point of contact for our most valued customers (MECs and NECs) and important EPC partners as a Lead Account Manager

  • Grow Honeywell’s leadership in LNG technology and product profitability by protecting intellectual property

  • Support the aftermarket goods and services segment by supporting the Aftermarket Commercial Manager – LNG with sale of product offerings and technical services to new and existing clients of LNG and FLNG operating facilities.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 10+ years commercial, equipment sales and marketing experience with significant cross-functional experience
  • 5+ years in the LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) industry or related energy industry or similar complex industry
  • Up to 30% travel required-domestically and internationally

WE VALUE

  • BS degree in engineering or business discipline
  • MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial contract and non-disclosure agreement terms and conditions
  • Experienced in leading complex contract negotiations
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to beat the competition
  • Strong people skills and ability to thrive in an environment of change
