Lead Advisor

📍Lake Nona, FL & Viera, FL (Dual-Site / Hybrid)  | 💵 $90K-$150K targeted first year compensation| 🕒 Full-time
The Chamberlin Group is seeking a Lead Advisor to meet with clients to understand their individual objectives and goals, customizing a holistic financial plan for them that encompasses tax, estate, insurance, retirement, and income planning. Following our sales process, investment strategies, and planning philosophies, you will work collaboratively with team members to serve the client. Leads are provided by the Company, allowing the Advisor to fully focus on each client.

We are a targeted, holistic financial planning and tax services firm, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri and serving clients nationwide since 2002. We are expanding our Florida presence and seeking two high-caliber Lead Advisors to split time between our Lake Nona and Viera offices. Our founder lives in Viera, FL and you would have an opportunity to work directly with him as you begin your career at our firm. Key Responsibilities
  • Holistic Wealth Advisory: Meet with prospective clients to understand their unique goals, presenting customized financial plans encompassing tax, estate, insurance, retirement, and income planning.
  • Process Execution: Follow our proven sales process, investment strategies, and planning philosophies to consistently close and serve clients.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee ad-hoc trades, account distributions, transfers, and investments to ensure everything is processed accurately and in good order.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain precise, up-to-date client records within our tech stack (HubSpot, RightCapital, Charles Schwab, and Fidelity).
  • Team Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with internal paraplanners and client service teams to deliver a flawless client experience.
  • Be an Educator: Conduct and administer educational classes and dinner seminars in both Melbourne and Orlando.

Licensing, Skills, and Experience

  • Licensing (Required): Active Series 65, Series 66, or CFP® designation, plus a Life & Health Insurance license. 
  • Experience: 5+ years of successful experience in a financial advisory or wealth management role, backed by a strong track record in sales and presentations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with Charles Schwab/Fidelity platforms. Experience with HubSpot and RightCapital is a major plus.
  • Presentation Capabilities: Proven ability to present financial, insurance, and retirement planning concepts in large group, one-to-one, and virtual settings.   
  • Attributes: Highly accountable, goal-oriented, and client-centric with exceptional communication and organizational skills. Must thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and be able to work well independently.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Targeted First-Year Compensation: $90,000 – $150,000
  • Retirement: 401(k) with a 3% safe-harbor company contribution (eligible after 3 months, no match required).
  • Healthcare: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
  • Work-Life Balance: Generous PTO package including 15 days of vacation, 10 sick days, and 16 paid holidays.
  • Work Environment: Hybrid flexibility. Travel to the Lake Nona and Viera offices as needed for client meetings.Ability to work dinner and educational seminars 2-3 nights a week.
  • Credentials: Fully sponsored Certified Financial Fiduciary designation.
