Lead QA for API testing: design and execute RESTful API test cases (payment initiation/status), develop and maintain Pytest automation in Python, use Postman and Git, integrate tests into CI/CD, document results, identify and track defects, and collaborate with development and product teams to resolve issues.

Roles and Responsibilities
Lead QA activities within the program, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Design and execute test cases for RESTful APIs, focusing on payment initiation and status check endpoints.
Work closely with application development teams and regional product managers to understand requirements and address testing challenges.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Pytest to ensure consistent and repeatable testing processes.
Collaborate with development teams and regional product managers to understand requirements and address testing challenges.
Document test cases, test results, and any issues encountered during testing.
Identify, log, and track defects, working with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution.
Tool Knowledge Sought
Proficiency in Postman for API testing; familiarity with Bruno is a plus.
Experience with Pytest for writing and executing automated test scripts.
Strong knowledge of Python for test automation purposes.
Familiarity with Git for code versioning and collaboration
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools to integrate testing processes.
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 48,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 168,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
