Boeing Global Services (BGS) Aerospace Parts & Distribution Business is offering an exciting opportunity for an Lead Business Development (Level 5) to become a part of our Parts and Distribution Services Strategy and Business Development team located in Dallas, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis: Analyze Industry data, sales trends, and existing contracts to proactively identify opportunities for expanding Boeing Distribution's product offering
  • Strategic Partnerships: Engage OEMs/Suppliers to build relationships to demonstrate Boeing Distribution's value proposition and generate new partnership opportunities.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive incremental sales and revenue of aftermarket products and services, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry standards.
  • Internal Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to ensure alignment and consistency across all business development efforts.
  • First-Time Quality Assurance: Ensure the development of high-quality business cases, minimizing errors, and fostering efficiency in decision-making processes.
  • Innovation and Technology: Stay updated on advancements in aerospace technology to identify new business opportunities.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, data science, or related field
  • 10+ years of total related experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Strategy, Business Development, Sales, or Supplier Management
  • 5+ year experience in aerospace industry
  • Financial acumen, with experience understanding and applying financial metrics to assess the viability of business cases.
  • Ability to think creatively with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to travel to support business and team requirements (approximately 10%-25%)

Export Control Requirements:
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Education: Master of Business Administration
  • Current knowledge and experience working within Boeing Distribution's S&C and C&E businesses
  • Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: electrical, chemicals, hardware, seals
  • Direct experience with parts distribution within the aviation industry
  • Business Development experience
  • Campaign/proposal development experience

Summary pay range: $143,000 - $204,000
