Overview

The AI & Analytics Lead Consultant serves as a senior client-facing consultant and central point of coordination for assigned client relationships. Lead Consultants combine strong Data Analytics expertise with subject matter expertise in artificial intelligence to understand client needs, recommend appropriate solutions, and promote consistent service delivery.

Lead Consultants advise clients and internal stakeholders on AI & Analytics capabilities, workflows, best practices, and appropriate use cases. They provide strategic and technical guidance, maintain visibility across client efforts, coordinate internal resources, and manage escalations. Lead Consultants exercise independent judgment, anticipate client needs and risks, and balance client objectives with established processes and broader business considerations.

Essential Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary AI & Analytics point of contact for assigned clients, developing trusted relationships and a strong understanding of client goals, priorities, and needs
  • Anticipate client needs, manage expectations, and provide proactive guidance regarding priorities, timelines, and potential challenges
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients evaluate AI & Analytics options and make informed decisions

 

AI & Analytics Consulting

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on AI and advanced Data Analytics capabilities, workflows, use cases, and best practices
  • Translate client objectives and project requirements into practical AI & Analytics strategies and workflows
  • Advise clients and internal stakeholders on AI capabilities, limitations, appropriate applications, and implementation considerations
  • Evaluate potential approaches and recommend alternatives when a requested solution is inefficient, impractical, or inconsistent with best practices
  • Manage complex AI & Analytics projects and workflows from strategy through execution when appropriate
  • Communicate complex AI, technical, and analytical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

Client Coordination and Escalation

  • Maintain visibility across AI & Analytics efforts for assigned clients and coordinate internal teams and stakeholders to promote alignment and consistency
  • Identify dependencies, competing priorities, communication gaps, and service-delivery risks and coordinate appropriate action
  • Serve as a primary point of escalation for client concerns, engaging leadership or specialized expertise when appropriate
  • Coordinate resolution efforts and ensure timely communication regarding status, decisions, and next steps
  • Ensure client needs are routed through appropriate channels and aligned with established processes while recognizing when an alternative approach is warranted

Leadership and Continuous Improvement

  • Demonstrate leadership through expertise, judgment, accountability, and effective coordination across teams
  • Serve as an AI & Analytics resource and informal mentor to Consultants and other team members
  • Share knowledge, emerging developments, and best practices to strengthen team capabilities and consistency
  • Capture client feedback and identify trends and opportunities to improve service delivery, processes, and the client experience
  • Maintain awareness of developments in AI and identify emerging capabilities, risks, and use cases relevant to clients and the business

Business Alignment and Metrics

  • Apply sound business judgment when recommending solutions, considering client objectives, scope, efficiency, scalability, resource requirements, and commercial implications
  • Tailor AI & Analytics solutions to align with project requirements, best practices, and Consilio’s business interests, recommending alternative approaches when appropriate
  • Recognize scope, resource, or commercial concerns and engage appropriate internal stakeholders
  • Accurately and timely track required metrics, including billing time, culling metrics, and other client- or project-related reporting
Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in Data Analytics, eDiscovery, legal technology, AI, or comparable consulting services
  • Advanced understanding of Data Analytics concepts, tools, and workflows, including experience with Relativity, Brainspace, Excel, and/or comparable technologies
  • Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, including generative AI and its application to legal, eDiscovery, or data-intensive workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate AI use cases and advise clients and internal stakeholders on AI capabilities, limitations, and appropriate implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to independently assess complex client and project situations, manage complex workflows, and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Strong client relationship management, communication, and consultative problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage expectations and escalations
  • Ability to coordinate and influence across teams without formal authority and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with demonstrated accountability, responsiveness, and follow-through
  • Ability to consider operational and commercial implications when evaluating client solutions

Minimum Education Requirements: 

  • D., Paralegal Certificate, or BS in relevant field Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Retrieval Sciences, among others), or equivalent
