Write high-volume email campaigns and flows in Klaviyo for complex DTC brands. Translate retention briefs into persuasive promotional, educational, launch, and seasonal copy; develop creative concepts; create brand voice guides, email best practices, and AI workflows; review and coach other writers; and help establish and scale the agency’s dedicated copywriting function.

We are one of the fastest-growing Shopify Retention Agencies and our clients love us for it. We are a small but focused team of people whose main goal is to turn our clients’ one-time buyers into their loyal customers. If you have the same focus and passion for it, then you’re the perfect person for us!

We are a remote-first agency which means that your schedule is flexible as long as you can be available at least between 12 and 5 PM CE(S)T when we’re in the office time zone. Don’t apply if you can’t stick to that schedule!

Your mission: be our first dedicated copywriter. Write for our most complex, high-volume DTC brands, and set the copy standard the rest of the agency writes to.

What you'll do:

  1. Write campaigns and flows in Klaviyo for our highest-volume, most complex DTC accounts

  2. Turn Retention Manager briefs into copy that sells: promo mechanics, product education, launches and seasonal peaks like Black Friday

  3. Bring new creative ideas to the table, not just execute the brief

  4. Set the standard: tone-of-voice guides per brand, a best-practice library for common email types, and the AI prompts and workflows the team uses

  5. Review and give feedback on Retention Manager copy, and coach them so their own writing improves

  6. Prove out the dedicated-copywriter model, then help us grow it

What we're looking for (non negotiable):

  1. Native English or native Dutch speaker

  2. 5+ years hands-on writing email/CRM copy for e-commerce or DTC brands: campaigns, flows, promotions, offers and product education

  3. Agency background: writing for several brands and tones at once, under tight deadlines

  4. A portfolio of real, sent emails, with results where possible

  5. You can explain why your copy worked, and what you’d change

What you'll get:

  1. Competitive salary

  2. Generous paid time off

  3. Fully remote - work from wherever you do your best work

  4. Real ownership: you set the copy standard for the whole agency, with a path to lead your own copy team

  5. Access to all tools, data, courses and coaches you need to get there

  6. Direct access to founders of the fastest growing e-commerce brands worldwide

This is for you if:

  • You’re a senior email copywriter at an agency, or a freelancer who wants a team around you, and you want ownership of the craft

  • You want the biggest, highest-volume brands on your desk, not the easy ones

  • You like making other writers better, not just doing your own work well

This is not for you if:

  • You want to manage only and stop writing

  • Your portfolio is mostly brand, long-form, social or ads copy, with no full emails

  • You need constant direction to know what to do next
