Position Overview

A

We are seeking a Lead Analytics Implementation Engineer to serve as the technical domain owner for web analytics, tracking strategy, and front-end data collection for a premier, high-impact non-profit client.

This is a highly specialized, hands-on role that balances strategic thought leadership with technical execution. Your primary mission is to design the strategies that ensure user interactions across web, mobile, and email are accurately captured at the source and translated into the client's data warehouse and reports. The objective is capturing data for actionable insights.

You will act as the strategic mind behind the international tracking plans, defining the event taxonomies and evaluating the analytics tools needed for a modern tech stack. This strategic thought leadership is the most crucial aspect of your role. However, your largest time investment will be in hands-on front-end implementation—writing custom client-side code, deploying analytics SDKs, and managing our customer data platform. This ownership includes validating collected data with support from the data team in their warehouse and customer models.

Key Responsibilities

  • High-Impact Strategy & Architecture As the most critical aspect of your role, you will define the overarching frameworks and event taxonomies that power the organization’s data ecosystem.
  • Tracking Architecture: Act as the domain leader for data collection strategy. Design, document, and iterate on comprehensive, multilingual tracking plans that support 360 user profiles.
  • Omnichannel Governance: Architect solutions that bridge disparate touchpoints, linking email campaign engagement, web browsing sessions, and mobile app usage to support cross-platform reporting.
  • Marketing Tech Alignment: Collaborate with marketing teams to activate UTM parameter governance and campaign alignment, ensuring marketing initiatives and data collection remain in sync.
  • Day-to-Day Hands-On Implementation Your day-to-day focus and time will be spent actively engineering and deploying these front-end tracking strategies. You will own the deployment and maintenance of tracking SDKs, managing Rudderstack and integrating third-party analytics tools with engineering and privacy best practices.
  • Client-Side Coding: Write and maintain custom front-end code snippets (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) within Webflow to enable tracking custom user experiences, and dynamic data visualizations.
  • Validation & Auditing As a vital ongoing commitment, you will ensure the long-term accuracy and trustworthiness of the data you capture across its entire lifecycle. Work alongside the data team to audit data pipelines and ensure distinct systems align with a centralized data dictionary by monitoring the data flowing from marketing and donor platforms like Virtuous, FundraiseUp, and HubSpot. Ensure client-side events are correctly populating Snowflake tables and matching reports.
  • Internal Partnership: Partner directly with Servant's Lead Consultant and Tech Lead to align strategy and execution.

Requirements
  • We are looking for a highly technical Individual Contributor with a T-Shaped profile. You must
  • have deep mastery in front-end web development and analytics implementation, fluency in modern marketing and donor platform ecosystems, and familiarity with data validation and querying.
  • Front-End & Analytics: Mastery in JavaScript. You possess deep technical expertise in designing event taxonomies, implementing tracking SDKs, and navigating modern front-end architectures and CDPs (e.g., Webflow, Rudderstack, GA4/GTM).
  • Ecosystem Integration: Fluency in CRM and donor management data schemas (e.g., HubSpot, Virtuous, FundraiseUp). You understand how these platforms integrate via APIs and how to architect data flows that bridge distinct systems.
  • Data Validation: Familiarity with SQL and lightweight Snowflake usage. You are comfortable navigating cloud data warehouses to audit data pipelines, verify client-side event payloads, and ensure baseline reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in Analytics Implementation, Marketing Data Engineering, Technical Web Development, or closely related technical roles.
  • Global Scale: Proven experience designing and implementing scalable tracking architectures that support multilingual and international user bases.
  • Consulting DNA: Prior experience in a consultancy or agency environment is highly preferred. You must be comfortable managing technical conversations with internal stakeholders and adapting quickly to evolving client ecosystems.
  • Mission Alignment: A desire to work with faith-based non-profits and support Servant’s mission of empowering these communities through digital transformation.
