Job Description:

 

Position:              Lead Desktop and Endpoint Systems Engineer 

Location:             Newtown Square, PA 19073 

Mode:                   5 days onsite per week


Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in desktop and endpoint systems management, with proven leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the deployment of applications, upgrades, and patches across endpoint computers to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Oversee and support virtualization environments, managing virtual machines (VMs) for efficient resource utilization.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce computer policies to maintain system integrity, compliance, and operational standards.
  • Manage and administer print servers to guarantee reliable and efficient printing services.
  • Lead the design, build, and deployment of standardized desktop operating system images to streamline provisioning and reduce deployment time.
  • Coordinate comprehensive lab testing for software and hardware to validate compatibility and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with network, server, and security teams to ensure cohesive infrastructure management and incident resolution.
  • Document detailed processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides to support knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
  • Drive change management processes to maintain stability and control over desktop infrastructure modifications.
  • Plan and implement new projects with minimal impact on day-to-day operations to ensure continuous service availability.
  • Manage and deploy endpoint security systems and software to protect devices from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure endpoint devices comply with organizational policies and security standards through proactive monitoring and enforcement.
  • Oversee the administration of computer objects and policies within Active Directory (AD), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), or Azure environments.
  • Engage regularly with end users to understand pain points and lead the development of effective solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic deliverables by analyzing market trends to drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
  • Establish and communicate a clear vision and strategic plan to deliver best-in-class products and services that meet and exceed end-user expectations.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to build technical expertise and foster a collaborative team environment.
