Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Developer – ServiceNow to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions, with expertise across IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), scripting, and third-party integrations. This role requires strong technical leadership and the ability to mentor junior developers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of custom ServiceNow applications and modules across ITSM, ITOM, and SPM.
  • Architect and implement solutions using ServiceNow best practices.
  • Develop and maintain complex server-side and client-side scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, etc.).
  • Manage and build integration solutions between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Provide technical guidance to a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development methodologies.
  • Monitor platform health and perform performance tuning as needed.
  • Stay current with new ServiceNow features and functionalities and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development and administration.
  • Strong expertise in ITSM, ITOM (Discovery, CMDB, Event Management), and SPM (formerly ITBM).
  • Proficient in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting (both client and server-side).
  • Experience with ServiceNow Integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers.
  • Familiarity with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Automation capabilities.
  • Proven experience in handling complex ServiceNow projects and leading development teams.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies in ServiceNow environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
