About the Role

As a Lead Frontend Engineer at Popl, you will own the development and evolution of our web applications, ensuring a fast, intuitive, and scalable user experience. You’ll write high-quality React code while helping guide frontend architecture and best practices.

You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and product partners, while mentoring other frontend engineers and driving continuous improvement across our UI. This role is perfect for someone who loves clean code, strong UX, and leading by example.

What You’ll Do
  • Write and push code for web desktop apps using React

  • Suggest and implement improvements to our frontend codebases

  • Attend daily stand-ups with the engineering team (We promise we are fun :))

  • Work with other engineers on using APIs, documentation and tests

  • Mentor and lead other frontend engineers

  • Learn a lot and grow with us

What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of React App Development

  • React (Vite preferred)

  • Build tools - NPM & Node.JS

  • HTML/CSS

  • Figma experience

  • High attention to detail

  • Experience building scaled software systems

  • Being detail oriented is a must, include “detail oriented” in your application

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Truly enjoys writing high quality, bug free code

  • Loves meeting new people

  • Familiarity with conferences
