Job Description

As the Lead Full-Stack Engineer for our Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform, you will drive the technical direction of our global eCommerce presence. You will join the Cricut eCommerce engineering team, serving as a technical anchor for architects, stakeholders, and third-party partners. In this role, you will go beyond building features; you will architect scalable solutions, mentor a team of developers, and bridge the gap between complex business requirements and high-performance code.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

· Technical Leadership: Lead the design and development of complex eCommerce features within the SFCC ecosystem, serving as the "go-to" technical expert for the team.

· Architecture & Strategy: Collaborate with Solution Architects to design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for a global, multi-site environment.

· Full-Stack Development: Write clean, standards-compliant front-end and back-end code (ISML, Controllers, Scripts) adhering to SFCC best practices (SFRA).

· Quality Assurance: Enforce code quality standards through rigorous code reviews, static analysis, and the implementation of unit/integration tests.

· Process Optimization: Drive improvements in the CI/CD pipeline, build tools, and release management processes to ensure smooth deployments.

· Performance Tuning: Proactively monitor site performance (Core Web Vitals) and implement optimizations for speed and conversion.

· Mentorship: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

· Experience: 6+ years of total software development experience, with 4+ years specifically dedicated to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C).

· Architecture: Deep understanding of SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture).

· Core Stack: Expert proficiency in native JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JSON.

· Backend & APIs: Strong experience with SFCC backend development including Controllers, Services Framework, Job Framework, and heavy usage of OCAPI and SCAPI (Shopper Commerce API).

· Integrations: Proven track record integrating third-party LINK cartridges and external services (OMS, PIM, ERP, payment gateways like Adyen/Stripe, and tax services).

· Global Scale: Experience managing multi-site, multi-currency, and multi-locale implementations.

· Tools: Familiarity with modern build tools (Webpack, npm) and version control (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket).

· Leadership: Previous experience leading code reviews, sprint planning, and technical implementation for a team.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

· Certification: Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Developer or Architect.

· Headless/Composable: Experience with PWA Kit, React, or Headless Commerce architecture.

· Analytics: Implementation experience with GTM (Google Tag Manager) and GA4.

· UX Collaboration: Ability to translate designs from Figma/Sketch into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.

· Agile: Deep familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and lifecycle management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira/Confluence.
