- Instructs others in continuous improvement tools and principles.
- Develop and update instructional materials.
- Mentor's instructors, experienced practitioners and leaders.
- Guides to the effective application and integration of LEAN implementation.
- Leads and facilitates complex and high visibility process improvement efforts.
- Develops an integrated strategy and assists with its strategic deployment.
- Applies and integrates improvement processes and tools across the extended enterprise.
- Leads the development of new improvement tools.
- Benchmarks best practices.
- Leads and facilitates the improvement and standardization of enterprise policies and procedures.
- Assesses business capability and capacity.
- Represents the LEAN improvements function in program reviews.
- Coaching, leading and partnering with supplier manufacturing representative, functional support, and management on systematic problem-solving activities
- Promoting continuous improvement and problem-solving culture and tools
- Facilitating or coaching facilitation of continuous improvement workshops such as Accelerated Improvement Workshops, Value Stream Mapping, 3P, Autonomous Maintenance Workshops, Distribution Kaizens, Table Top, Moonshine, Kamishibai, Point of Use, Leader Standard Work, and Tier Boards
- Leading, facilitating, and project-managing improvement workshops and systematic problem-solving efforts in focus areas
- Leading and coaching day-to-day implementation of Boeing Production System (BPS) standard concepts predominantly in manufacturing areas
- Supporting more advanced and complex process improvements
- Instructing others in continuous improvement tools and principles using standardized lesson materials. Assists in formatting updated training materials.
- Supporting, coaching and partnering with a team at Senior Manager/Executive level to implement, grow, and sustain the Daily Management structure and cadence
- Removing roadblocks for teams, while mentoring them to do the same for themselves - teach, inspire and empower
- Participating in or leading maturity evaluation and assessment activities.
- Reflecting on internal processes and BPS standards to systematically solve problem-solve and continuously improve (e.g., Tier Boards, Kamishibai, 5S)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Minimum 8 years' experience utilizing LEAN strategy and concepts
- Minimum 5 years' Supply Chain Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience interfacing with Suppliers
- Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel up to 50%

- Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external)
- Leading or managing projects and collaborating across organizations and with multi-discipline teams
- 5+ year Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with Boeing Production System (BPS) and/or Toyota Production System (TPS) concepts.
- Experience leading or facilitating process improvement activities such as 5S, VSM, AIW, 3P, AMW/TPM, M&I, RCA, Systematic Problem-Solving, Theory of Constraints.
- Experience coaching team members and leaders in an operations environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
