What You'll Do
- Lead design for complex product surfaces, platform capabilities, or strategic initiatives with broad business and cross-team impact, balancing multiple workstreams at once if needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders across Product, Engineering, Research, Analytics, Operations, and partner product teams to shape vision and define strategy.
- Bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces by structuring actionable design approaches for complex workflows, shared systems, and scalable experiences.
- Deliver high-quality design from concept through execution that balances user needs with business goals.
- Guide teams in applying and evolving design system patterns, platform standards, and reusable interaction models for consistency and scalability.
- Influence product and design direction through storytelling, framing, and strategic critique.
- Partner closely with Engineering to understand technical constraints, dependencies, and implementation tradeoffs that shape scalable platform experiences.
- Set quality standards, provide detailed design feedback, and elevate the work of peers and junior designers.
- Mentor other designers and help grow the culture, craft, and impact of the broader design organization.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Design or any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- At least 6 years of experience designing digital products, with a proven track record leading large-scale, platform, or high-impact initiatives.
- A portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end product design, systems thinking, scalable solutions, and measurable business outcomes.
- Deep fluency in interaction design, product thinking, systems thinking, and the use of design systems.
- Experience shaping product strategy and influencing roadmap planning in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Experience designing shared platforms, internal tools, enterprise workflows, or products that serve multiple user groups or downstream teams.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and create structure in complex or undefined problem spaces.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills that align and inspire stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring and coaching designers while contributing to team culture and craft excellence.
