About the Team
The Exposure Command team at Rapid7 exists to help security teams take command of their risk by understanding exposures, prioritizing threats, and taking effective action across hybrid environments. We are building a platform experience that empowers defenders to go from awareness to resolution, seamlessly. We work shoulder-to-shoulder with customers to solve their hardest problems and simplify how security teams operate at scale. Every decision - from roadmap prioritization to design polish - is driven by customer conversations, real-world use cases, and deep empathy for their goals, challenges, and outcomes.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced product leader with a proven track record in new product formulation, development, and launch. The ideal candidate possesses a strong customer-focused mindset and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Specifically, your focus will be to:
  • Lead cross-team collaboration with Product, Engineering, and UX for product planning, prioritization, development, launch and on-going enhancements that balance responsiveness to customer needs with strategic market impact.
  • Drive internal alignment around Exposure Command platform experiences across product teams and internal stakeholders, ensuring high-quality launches, consistent user experiences, and clear go-to-market messaging
  • Relentlessly advocate for our users, ensuring their voice is represented in every product decision, backlog conversation, and roadmap commitment
  • Stay deeply connected to customers through regular interviews, feedback loops, shadowing sessions, and ongoing discovery to surface unmet needs
  • Use outcome-driven product thinking to define success, measure customer impact through adoption, time to value, and satisfaction scores
  • Work with product and marketing leadership to develop content, messaging and competitive positioning based on customer value and real world use cases.

The skills and qualities you'll bring include:
  • 5+ years of experience in product management roles
  • 3+ years of cyber security experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in planning, managing and launching products
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Analytical, problem solving mindset
  • Healthy curiosity, thirst for knowledge and willingness to get hands-on
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical topics
  • Passion for research and keeping up to date with competitive and industry trends
  • Ability to partner with others and drive toward solutions
